Above the clouds
Here is a pic of the beautiful sunset I viewed as I flew above the clouds on the way to California. I was pretty happy that I was able to capture it considering I had the aisle seat and the window was kind of dirty. I always enjoy watching a sunrise or sunset. I think it is an amazing sight to watch. The sky is a canvas and there is always a piece of art being created without the control of man. It is so peaceful to watch how rich each color gets. Then it just fades away only for another shade to take its place.

This is a beautiful photograph, well done. I find that the older I get, the more time I spend looking at the sky. In fact, I try to make time every day to just stop, go outside and look up. There is much to be learned from watching the sky and all of the dynamics it holds. I remember the first time I watched the sunset on a flat horizon. (Being from the East Coast, that doesn't happen often). I was in Kansas, in the middle of a sea of wheat and it was truly profound. It is a moment that I will never forget.
